Who we are

Rhode Island Sapphics was established in 2024 by Olivia (she/they) & her partner Sarah (she/her) to build an inclusive, strong, and fun community of lesbian, bisexual, and queer women and non-binary people in RI.

Sapphics meet for coffee, crafts, museum trips, walks, beach days, lunches, nights out at bars, games, and more!

We also host virtual events like speed friending and have an online community through Discord (see FAQ).

Events are primarily organized by Olivia, Sarah, and friends. Adi runs Silent Sapphic Literary Society and Hazel runs the virtual speed friending events!

Our events are 18+, with the exception of bar/happy hour events which are 21+.
