  • Sapphics 18+* are wanted and welcome here! Most of our attendees range in age from their 20’s-50’s.

    *Please note - happy hour/bar events are 21+.

  • No. We have this website, Instagram (@ri_sapphics), the Rhode Island Sapphics group on the Lex app, and a discord server (see question below). We also have an email address you can reach out to directly (risapphics@gmail.com) or through the contact form on this website.

    We LOVE working with local businesses/orgs in RI/Southern NE, particularly woman and/or queer-owned businesses.

  • We aren’t charging for events.

    Some events are hosted in community spaces such as public libraries, community libraries, and community venues that do not charge fees. We have a small number of virtual events which are also free to attend. Some events are hosted in cafes or bars/distilleries; individuals may purchase food/drinks at these events, but there is no cover or fee to attend.

    Expenses related to running RI Sapphics (the website, tabling, supplies, etc.) are covered by the founders.
